The main focus of our event is of course Taiko Drumming, and the festival will feature a variety of workshop topics led by instructors and performers from across the UK, Europe, and the USA. The workshops will also cater to a range of playing levels and abilities, from complete beginners to advanced players. We are hugely excited by the lineup of artists we have been able to secure for the intensive and festival weekend workshops.

 

CALLING ALL TAIKO INSTRUCTORS!
 

We are currently seeking workshop leaders for the Scottish Taiko Festival in 2026. If you have an idea for a workshop you'd like to lead, we'd love to hear from you. We are open to workshops on any Taiko related topic; for example, particular techniques or styles, performance related aspects, drills, or compositions. We ask that workshop leaders submit two workshops for consideration. One will be a paid workshop, the other will be by donation. We will also try to find you suitable free accommodation for the weekend.
