About the event
Shinrin-yoku, also known as forest bathing, is a Japanese practice of spending time in a forest to promote relaxation and well-being. Participants immerse themselves in the forest atmosphere, focusing on their senses and observing nature. Scientific studies have shown that forest bathing can reduce blood pressure, lower cortisol levels, and improve concentration and memory.
The practice originated in Japan in the 1980s and has since become popular in other regions, including the United States. The Japanese government has even introduced it as a national health program.
