DATES CONFIRMED FOR SCOTTISH TAIKO FESTIVAL AND GASSHUKU 2027!
We are thrilled to announce that the 5th Scottish Taiko Festival will take place on the weekend of the 2nd - 4th of April 2027, featuring workshops led by educators from across Europe and beyond, each offering a diverse range of perspectives and styles for participants of all skill levels.
During the Festival weekend, you can get to know fellow Taiko players at our buffet banquet; learn to dance in traditional Scottish fashion at our ever-popular Ceilidh, and show off your Taiko skills at our Community Concert.
In a reversal to our previous schedules, the 4th Taiko Gasshuku Alba will now follow the festival from Sunday, 4th April to Thursday 8th April 2027. This intensive retreat offers participants the opportunity to deeply immerse themselves in Taiko training over five days under the guidance of world-class Taiko instructors, right in the picturesque heart of Scotland. Registration for the Gasshuku will be opening soon.
