About the event

In taiko, uchikomi (打ち込み) is a fundamental, repetitive training method used to develop proper form, power, precision, and a strong, resonant sound. The term comes from the verb utsu, meaning “to strike” or “to beat,” reflecting the practice’s focus on disciplined, continuous playing.
