‘If you can sing it, you can play it is often said. But do you!? Do you really know with which hand to hit? How long to wait before hitting the next one? With 3D-KS -a syllable system developed by Annick Robberecht - you can! On a drumset with three drums! With this system, every taiko-song can be translated into lyrics that unambiguously tells you how to play it. Within the taiko community we agree about don and doko, but that’s about it. Imagine if we all speak the same language to communicate our rhythms and songs!? This system can clear up the Babylonian confusion of tongues within the taiko community!
