The Techno-Jazz Taiko Beat (£35)

A big part of playing taiko is sensing the more obvious beats on the down beat, but also those that go in between, or that even create a new polyrhythmic layer on top. In this workshop we will work on connecting those rhythms with your body and developing a feeling for those kind of rhythms, that are less easy to sense at first. Sounds like hard work, but at the end it will result in fun to play taiko grooves. Led by Ingmar Kikat.
