About the event
The fundamental concept that this workshop focuses on is moving from the core. As taiko players we are often told to generate our motion from our core which is an easy thing to say but much more difficult to understand. This workshop takes participants through a step by step process so they can truly understand what it means to move from the core and how to redirect this simple movement into bigger more complicated phrases. This workshop also serves as the foundation for learning the piece ‘Omiyage’.
This workshop is SOLD OUT. To be added to the waiting list, email info@scottishtaikofestival.com
