Rhythmic Development (Free)

Taiko is all about rhythm, and the more approaches we have to rhythm, the better taiko players we can be! In this workshop we’ll learn how to FEEL rhythms in the body and UNDERSTAND them through the brain. We’ll cover syncopation and polyrhythms and leave you with a greater appreciation for both the complexity of rhythm as well as the beauty of simplicity. And for anyone who has trouble sticking to a downbeat, this is the workshop for you!
